Dante's Girl by Courtney Cole

Y'all, the time has arrived!  It's here!  Courtney's new book, Dante's Girl is out TODAY!  Don't hate me, but I got to read an ARC of it and let me tell you...  Well, I won't, because I don't want to ruin it for you.  Let's just say you need this book:)

Check out the A-MAZING cover!

And as if it could get any better than that, read the blurb:

I have spent every summer since I was ten years old with my father in London.  Every summer, since I was ten years old, has been uneventful and boring.

Until this year.

And this year, after a freak volcanic eruption strands me far from home, I have learned these things:
1.  I can make do with one outfit for three days before I buy new clothes.
2.  If I hear the phrase, “You’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto,” even one more time, I might become a homicidal maniac.
3.  I am horribly and embarrassingly allergic to jellyfish.
4. I am in love with Dante Giliberti, who just happens to be the beautiful, sophisticated son of the Prime Minister of a Mediterranean paradise.
5.  See number four above.  Because it brings with it a whole slew  of problems and I’ve learned something from every one of them.

Let’s start with the fact that Dante’s world is five light-years away from mine.  He goes to black-tie functions and knows the Prime Minister of England on a first name basis.  I was born and raised on a farm in Kansas and wear cut-off jeans paired with cowboy boots.  See the difference?

But hearts don’t care about differences.  Hearts want what they want.  And mine just wants to be Dante’s girl.

My heart just might be crazy.

Think that's pretty freakin' awesome?  Well, don't go anywhere.  I've got a first chapter excerpt AND a giveaway for one eBook copy of Dante's Girl.  Eeeeep!  All you have to do to enter is tweet about Dante's Girl and include the Amazon link.  That's it.  Easy peasy:)  Oh, and just in case you don't win it, you should TOTALLY go buy yourself a copy now. Like, right now!  Seriously.

All right, ready, set, go!

New Covers for Dark Betrayal Series- Nichole Chase

All right, y'all, the fabulous Nichole Chase has redone her covers for the Dark Betrayal Trilogy in honor of the upcoming release of the third and final book.  I have a peek of the first two for you today and they are LOVELY!!  Here they are, along with their blurbs:

Mortal Obligation:

Ree will face the darkest form of betrayal before the year is out.
Seventeen year old Ree McKenna has three goals: get through high school, convince her crush she is more than his best friend’s little sister, and save money for college. Fate, though, has other plans for her. After the untimely death of her older brother, Ree is haunted by dreadful nightmares and terrifying visions. To make matters worse, Ree has started to suspect that something dangerous is stalking her from the shadows.
A night full of frightening surprises leaves Ree with unsettling news. Gifted by the gods with unusual powers, she must devote herself to a battle that could very well lead to not only her death, but the demise of everyone she knows and loves. After all, Ree is the only mortal standing between the Earth and utter darkness.

Mortal Defiance:

One short week turned Ree McKenna’s life upside down. Not only does she have the weight of the world on her shoulders, but she still has to juggle homework, a job, and a curfew. While Ree tries to find her footing amidst the chaos, the Dark Ones and their champion are busy hunting down any humans that have a touch of the gods running through their veins. Allies have turned into foes, and enemies have become stronger.
The world is growing darker, but the passion between Ree and two irresistible guys blazes hotter. Romantic ties from a past life will threaten to break Ree away from the love of her life and will cloud her judgment. In order to follow her heart, Ree will break rules put in place by the gods, risking her life and the lives of her friends in an act of Mortal Defiance.

Playlists

Okay, so Playlist.com pulled a fast one on me!  It took me days and days to notice.  I suppose, in that case, it really didn't have to be a fast one, now did it?  LOL  They wasted all that energy trying to pull one over on lil ole me...  Anyway, they are now disallowing pop-up players on blogs and stuff.  For that reason, I'm removing them from my sidebar and putting them in link form below.  I will keep this post updated with playlists as I do them for each book.  Sorry for the inconvenience:(  The bright side is that you might stop and play for a while on Playlist.com.  You know, find some new favorite songs, listen to some old favorite songs.  It's a great way to spend an afternoon, which I've done many a time (when I should've been writing:D).  Annnnnywho, it's all good, right?  Right!  So here they are, y'all:

Forever Changed by Tiffany King

COVER REVEAL, SNEAK PEEK AND GIVEAWAY

Happy Monday, y'all!

Okay, so here's the deal.  I have the FABULOUS Tiffany King here today.  She'll soon be releasing her newest book, Forever Changed.  Check out this freakin' awesome cover:

Gorgeous, right?  I know!!!  Anyway, in honor of the big event, she's doing a blog hop and giveaway.  All you have to do is take the letters from this blog back to her blog here and try to decode the secret message.  Now that's for the chance to win the grand prize.  But there's another prize to sweeten the deal.  I'm doing a giveaway here for a Kindle copy of the book along with a silver drumsticks charm that Tiffany had specially made.  All you have to do is leave me a comment about how awesome the divine Ms. King is and you're as good as entered:)  I'll randomly draw a winner and post it on my blog tomorrow.

Good luck, everyone!  Let the decoding begin!

“One-two-three-four,” I tapped out, sending the large garage rocking into our usual Thursday night jam session. I pounded out the beat on the drums. In front of me, John wailed on his guitar, Dex was killing it on bass, and Drake totally owned our small group of admirers the way he belted out our lyrics into the microphone.
In between sets, I swiped the beaded up sweat on my forehead with the back of my hand, catching the admiring gaze of Miranda. Of course, I wished it was someone else. I shook my head to dislodge the thoughts of Kassandra. I didn’t need the distraction at the moment. Miranda was cool, and I knew she was into me. She looked at me appraisingly when I returned her smile. When we launched into our next set, I kept my eyes fixated on her, taking in every curve of her body. She returned my heated glance as we eye-flirted throughout the song.
The small crowd cheered as I rolled through my solo. I grinned at them, tossing my drumsticks up above my head and catching them at the last moment as I continued on.
“Dude, you rocked,” John said, knocking his knuckles against mine as we sat around after the last song. “It’s good to have you back. The jams just weren’t the same.”
“Yeah, we missed your sorry loser ass,” Drake added, throwing a mock punch at my shoulder.

Jackson! Need I say more?

Of all the pictures I've seen of people's vision of Jackson, this one comes the closest to jumping right out of my head and onto the computer screen.  THIS is my Jackson!

Enjoy!!

Holy canoli!  I could stare at him all day long!  *sigh*  Actually, I just might:D  Don't judge!  LOL
