EXCERPT ONE

He squeezes me and presses his lips to my shoulder.  I can barely feel them through the lapel of my robe.

“Can I take this off you?” he breathes.  “I want to feel your skin against mine.”

A pang of desire zings through me at the thought of him holding my naked body against his.  It was only a few hours ago that we had sex for the fifth time today, but it feels like an eternity ago. So much has happened since then, so many emotions have come and gone, that it feels…different.

“Yes,” I whisper in response, answering him before my mind can talk me out of it.

I start to sit up, but Cash stops me.  He leans up on one elbow and pulls my hair away from my face and neck, bending to press his lips against the soft skin beneath my ear.

12 Days of M. Leighton, Day 12

It's Christmas time! Wahoooooooooooooo I feel like Snoopy at Christmas for some reason, like I should be running through the snow, giggling uncontrollably with my ears flapping in the wind.  Only I don't have ears that flap, thank God.  LOL  Anyway, I digress.  Today is the kick off for my Christmas celebration, called THE 12 DAYS OF M. LEIGHTON.  It's my way of wishing you each and every one a very merry and extremely blessed Christmas.

So, let me explain what I'm doing.  Each day for the next 12 days, I'll be posting a different giveaway.  The prizes will start small and end BIG, like an entire set of my paperbacks, signed.  That's 11 books, people!  And until then, there will be all sorts of goodies I'll be giving away.  And did I mention there will be teasers thrown in?  Oh yeah. OMG OMG OMG OMG  It's almost time!  I get super excited when it's cover reveal time because I know that after a couple of very short weeks, the book will be out!
